1 Copano Seiber First-up after 27 week break and having first run for a new trainer. Has genuine early speed but cannot entertain.
2 In A Wink Coming off a win at Sonoda when resuming and goes well at the track. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Big chance.
3 Hagino Aggressive Won once this prep at Sonoda seven runs back. Has genuine early speed. Outside hope.
4 You Are My Soul Beaten easily last start at Sonoda. Capable of racing on speed but no wins in three past runs at the track. Not here.
5 Chief In The Sky Last start winner at Sonoda. Has a lot of early speed. Not out of it.
6 Una Can't knock the form winning two in a row at Sonoda and has outstanding form at this track. Expected to be a contender.
7 Bellagio Umamusuko Let-up for nine weeks. Looks the leader and rates highly with Takashi Nakata aboard. Genuine contender.
8 Coeur Et Raijin Unplaced in career. Capable of racing on speed but has not won at Sonoda previously. This looks too strong.
9 Meisho Yoho Finished midfield last start at Sonoda. Capable of racing on speed but Shingo Oyama not a regular jockey for this trainer. Prefer to watch go around.
10 Ho O Raijin First-up after 18 week spell. Has a lot of early speed. Should fight out the finish.
11 Wonder Amalfi Hasn't placed in 10 runs. Has a lot of early speed and returns to shorter trip. Not keen.
