1 Glanz City Ran sixth last start at Ohi. Draws to do no work and expect to lead. Has a lot of early speed. Among the main chances.
2 Yamano Rich Yet to break out of maiden grade after 20 attempts but should find the lead easily having drawn well. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but still look to others.
3 Ka Noa Lady Ran sixth last start at Ohi. Capable of racing on speed and rates highly with Genki Fujimoto retaining the ride. Chance.
4 Detonator Amongst the placegetters last start running third at Ohi. Has genuine early speed. Tsubasa Sasagawa and Satoshi Fukunaga are a proven combination. Commands serious thought.
5 Lux Dion Resumes after a 16 week spell and last start win at Ohi took streak to four in a row. Capable of racing on speed. Rates as one of the key chances.
6 Amphora In the money last start running third at Ohi. Has a lot of early speed. Not the worst.
7 Speed Star In the money last start running third at Ohi. Capable of racing on speed and up in trip. Sneaky chance.
8 Cosmo Magica Hasn't placed in 18 runs. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but hasn't done best work over this distance. Appears safely held.
9 Judicious Unplaced in all nine runs this prep. Has a lot of early speed but Riku Takami not a regular jockey for this trainer. Not here.
10 Abenin Tiara Has two wins from 10 attempts this campaign. Looks the leader and up in journey. Place hope.
11 Odyssey Struggled so far this preparation. Has a lot of early speed but has not won in six outings to Ohi before. Prefer others.
12 June Shuttle Has placed in two runs from three this campaign. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. Well placed.
13 Takamizu First-up after 29 week spell. Capable of racing on speed and has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. One for wider exotics.
14 Bright Color First-up after 23 week break. Has a lot of early speed but has not won at Ohi previously. Can surprise.
15 Shark Shiny Amongst the placegetters last start running second at Ohi and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Capable of racing on speed. Not the worst.
16 Clair Jack Has placed in two runs from three this campaign and has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier. Looks the leader. Right in this.
