The improving three-year-old WHO ORDERED DAFISH (8) has been in fine form this preparation and was far too good at Ipswich last start. He steps up in trip but drops 1.5kg and this is not beyond him.
PRIME IMPACT (1) didn't enjoy the polytrack and wasn't helped by the rider dropping the whip. He is stepping up in trip but heavy ground is to his liking and Andrew Mallyon can set the tempo.
MARTEDI (6) chased WHO ORDERED DAFISH (8) home at Ipswich and meets him 2kg better. He has been up a while but rarely puts in a bad one and won his only start on heavy ground.
Verdict - THESECONDATPORTSEA (4) brings Saturday form.

One with few convictions is ALKENTER (1) which battled away on heavy ground last start and wasn't far away at the end. That will have stood him in good stead and he gets the gun run with Dale Smith.
DARE I SAY (12) loved the heavy ground here last start and was only overhauled late. Fitter for three outings, the extra distance won't bother him and from a better draw Adin Thompson can give a sight.
MISS MOOV (6) found one better on the polytrack at her only start. She is poorly drawn but Robbie Dolan will know what to do.
Verdict - PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (10) hard to beat.

RENOUF (1) is destined for the Magic Millions Broodmare sale but this is her track and she would love to go out on a winning note, She has had a seven-week break but has won on heavy ground and Sean Cormack will be winding her up late.
CRANKY HARRY (4) is resuming and while he couldn't get it done last preparation placed at three of four outings. Now with Matt Dunn he has had two trials to get ready and Jim Orman will sound him out.
A newcomer to David Vandyke BOOM BOOM BASIL (2) is resuming and goes best fresh. He enjoys wet ground and has the speed overcome a wide gate.
Verdict - Some value with ISLAND MAGIC (5).

STEP ALONG (3) was dominant here at his last outing and meets SAMBUCA (2) on similar terms when narrowly beaten. With a fitness and experience edge on most of these he will be hard to run down.
Stuart Kendrick has been winning races for fun here recently and AQUAHOLIC (7) has looked the part at his trials. Recently gelded with blinkers and a crossover noseband he will be ready to go and from a good gate Bailey Wheeler will keep his mind on the job.
Verdict - Several chances but SAMBUCA (2) for me.

GREY ICE (12) is a promising filly from Victoria that was dominant at Pakenham last start. She drops back in trip and takes on more seasoned horses but this big track will suit. With a recent trial under her belt and Martin Harley steering she will be hard to hold out.
RED VICAR (8) was unwanted in the market and didn't flatter when having his first outing for Kelly Schweida. A well-bred type by The Autumn Sun out a Magic Millions Fillies and Mares winner this bigger track suits, Jim Orman stays on and he did enough in Victoria to test these.
Verdict - BETTELETMEDANCE (3) to get it done.

COLLEAGUES (5) found it hard to win last preparation but was racing in better company than this. He may prefer longer but showed he was ready to go at a recent trial and the David Vandyke/Ryan Maloney combination is hard to ignore.
VEANDERCHANCE (4) got too far back at Doomben but this bigger track suits and she relishes heavy ground. The wide gate tests but Kyle Wilson-Taylor can round them up late.
Verdict - Have a liking for HALF CROWN (7) at each-way odds

LOOSE UNIT (2) has more than his share of convictions but will be improved by his first-up run where he just missed in this class. Ryan Maloney replaces the apprentice Cody Collis and he gets all the favours from the inside gate.
The stablemate CHANGE THE DEEL (7) has been racing on the poly but won his Maiden on turf and will appreciate this trip. He was unsuited by the tempo last start but just missed at his two previous outings and can hit the line for Robbie Dolan.
A LOT OF BOOTY (3) got too far back at Doomben last start but was making ground late. The wide gate tests but scratchings help as will Jim Orman. He has been knocking on the door in better races than this and heavy ground doesn't frighten him.
Verdict - TOROVISTA (9) is here for a purpose.
