Amelia's Jewel set to line up in $1m The Goodwood at Morphettville on May 11
Star mare Amelia's Jewel will be trained by Annabel Neasham after she tackles the $1 million The Goodwood (1200m) at Morphettville on May 11.
On Tuesday morning, it was announced multiple Group 1-winning trainer Neasham would take over from Simon Miller after Amelia's Jewel's attempt to win a Group 1 in Adelaide.
The West Australian sensation finished second for a consecutive year behind Overpass in WA's $5 million slot race The Quokka (1200m) on Saturday.

The nine-time winner - trained by Simon Miller - will head east once again, but this time will make her first appearance in South Australia on Goodwood Day, the final meeting of the Adelaide Racing Carnival.

Racing SA announced the news via a statement on social media.
"Confirmed. Star Western Australian mare Amelia's Jewel has been confirmed for The Goodwood, with trainer Simon Miller stating "We'll look at getting her on a flight to Melbourne and then over to Adelaide as soon as we can to settle in."

McDonald joins fellow star hoops Damian Lane, Craig Williams, Blake Shinn and hometown hero Jamie Kah as riders set to compete at the meeting.
The Adelaide Racing Carnival will feature four $1 million Group 1s, kicking off with the Robert Sangster Stakes (1200m) and Australasian Oaks (2000m) on Saturday, before the South Australian Derby (2500m) on May 4 and The Goodwood (1200m) on May 11.
